This week we decided to make Flap Jacks. They are really easy to make and taste delicious. Enjoy the photos!
Flap Jacks
170g / 6oz butter
222g / 8oz oats
170g / 6oz brown sugar
2 -3 tbls honey
1. Melt the butter in the microwave
2. Add the sugar and return to the microwave to dissolve the sugar (slightly) 2-3 minutes.
3. Add the honey to the butter and sugar and mix well.
4. Add the oats and stir.
5. Flatten the mixture in a baking tray.
6. Cook int he oven at 190c degrees for 20 mins
7. Cut into squares while it's hot - it's easier... but leave it in the tray to cool.
We decided they were too good not to share so we went to visit Ms. Juliette and offer her a Flap Jack to enjoy with her coffee!
And then to Reception where these ladies were delighted as Flap Jacks are their favourite biscuit of all time!!!
