Creativity in Reception- mud 'n all!

Creativity comes in different guises .... some children choose to create 'things' by building them.....

Creativity can be in the making of music......

Last week we had 'mud' in the creative room.  Children came and played with it - they touched it, squished it, rolled it, poked it, smelled it, pinched it and some practically rolled in it :)  

Creating new pictures by cutting and sticking from magazines was a big hit!

And creating pictures from pretty stones and objects from nature takes time and the results are beautiful.....

Some children excel at using recycled materials to create new models like boats....

At the end of the week, the children had the opportunity to make something from clay and take it home.

Playing hide and seek in the playground...

Now that's a great hiding spot ;)
