Hickory Dickory Dock

We are learning about time. Today we worked out where to place the numbers on a clock. We talked about how to tell o'clock times by looking at where the little hand in pointing when the big hand points to 12.

We sang the song Hickory Dickory Dock but we changed it a little bit. 

Hickory dickory dock

The mouse ran up the clock

The clock chimes rang

'Dong, dong, dong, dong, dong dong'

The mouse ran down

Hickory dickory dock

Tick tock tick tock

"What was the time in our song?" 

" 6 o'clock!"

We made our clock tell the time in our song...
