Today we celebrated Bella's 4th birthday! When it's somebody's birthday we all stand in a circle and sing "The earth goes round the sun, the earth goes round the sun, one more year goes by and Bella turns 1 and we repeat the verse until we reach their age. Afterwards we sing the 'Happy Birthday' song in English and Dutch and the language of the child (if we know it!!)

Superhero in the house.... we love superheroes because they get the baddies!!! In Reception we teach the children how to play fight without actually making contact with each other- it involves lots of arm movements and pow, wham, biff type words and serious faces- you should try it some time, it's great fun!
