Each pair had a blank ladybird, a whiteboard and marker and 10 counters.
We then places counters on the wings of the ladybird to make our own number sentences.
We followed this activity up in the Ocean. First we made some red play dough, then we turned our play dough into ladybirds and wrote a number sentence underneath.
