The sun has got his hat on....

So we are having a wonderful week!

Outside we have been...

Playing with the water tray.

Digging in our mud patch.

Climbing with our friends.

Scooting on boards.

In the Desert we have been exploring water spheres.

"They look like body parts, the body parts you have inside your head. Yes brains!"

Using the block play.

Building amazing marble runs!

This one was so tall we had to stick it to the wall.

Ms Rosalie has been doing some maths assessments with us in the Ocean.

We have also been building in the Ocean.

In the Arctic we have been getting busy in the block corner and making amazing constructions.

The fine motor trays have been popular too.

In the Jungle we have been accessing activities ourselves, choosing what we would like to work on with our friends and by ourselves.

Making words...

Building puzzles.

Having a go at writing letters.

Drawing pictures on the whiteboard.

Sarah has also been doing some assessments on our phonics.

We have also been getting creative on the writing table.

In the Savannah this week we have been talking about non standard measurements. Ms Hannah from year 5 came down to our corridor and we drew around her. We then used our hands to measure the different parts of her body. Can you see how many hands tall she is?

We have been using the play dough to create exciting sculptures.

We have also made some beautiful painting and collages.
