In the Jungle room today some Pirates were trying to find some treasure. Each gold coin had a CVC word written on it, the Pirates sounded out the word and decided if it was a real word or just nonsense! They placed the real words into the treasure chest.
This activity really took off! The pirates then moved to the writing table and began drawing treasure maps before embarking on an adventure!
